Multiple fixes for this 2000 Lincoln this year. Last two fuel pump replacement at $900 and winter tires changed to all weather about 2 weeks ago. Two nites ago while driving two loud booms were heard at rear of car. Noted car very low to ground in back. Car also dragging on right side passengerswere on right hand side. Also hit a bump going uphill. Even after passengers left rear end all the way down. Note: car did make strange noise since fuel pump replacement but no change in height from normal. Also kept hearing rattling nosie. What could be the problem and what might be the cost. Thank you

Best place to start would be to get under it and visually verify everything is attached still. Honestly the best fix for the air ride rear suspoensions on those is to remove it and use a Strutmasters kit to do away with the level ride and air bags. Otherwise you will need to find a shop familiar with those suspensions to have them scan the system to see if it sees any problems and check it for leaks that could be causing the low ride height. Those systems leak air, the compressors go out, the air bags leak/fail, so it could be many different things
