1999 Lincoln Town Car lose all dash lights headlights and A

When driving I lose all my lights in the dash, headlights, and AC/heat. When I step on the brake they come back but go out as soon as I accelerate I lose them again. When I shut off the car it still draws juice from the battery and is dead by morning unless I turn the lights on and off after shutting down the vehicle. What and where could this problem be my mechanic is at a total loss and he even had another mechanic who "specializes" in electrical work look at it and nothing could be found.

Problem maybe loose ground. Behind left kick panel find ground wire connection to body see if loose.

This may be to late at this point but I know why your lights are acting funny. I got stoped with my tail light out then ofter a few hours thay were back on this happen twice till I put a jump wire between the no.7 fuse and the brown wire out of the "Light control moduale" Yes your short is in you "lighting control moduale" your brakes run though there to, and its easy to take out and put a new one in to. Its up under your dash, right hand side one easy screw and a slide out and four easy wire clips. Now I would recommend replacing it for $140.00 on line, $300.00 junk yard or up to $900.00 at the dealer. Be awair that Linclon made a "Light control moduale" for the Town Cars and a "Light control moduale" for the Signature Town Car only. Good Luck Dave
