Engine Cooling problem
1997 Lincoln Town Car V8 Automatic 55000 miles

My engine runs smooth has power, doesnt overheat, but it takes forever to cool down after I turn it off. 4hrs later after turning it off I'll start it and it will be warm still. No other car Ive ever had takes that long to cool down. I was wondering if this is common in towncars? or do i have a problem waiting to fully expose itself in the near future?

Hi drothelast, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

You sure the temperature gauge is not misleading you? If not-Check/test/replace the thermostat and coolant up to level and try bleeding the cooling system and see what happens-let me know
