How much oil should i go threw in any period of time or miles

If there's no external leak anywhere and you're burning a quart of oil in less than 500miles you have an engine problem to find out have the engine compression checked out-could be valves/rings/cyl wear-

so would 0ne quart every 500 miles would be nomal

I would say 1qt at 1,000 miles will be normal consumption-but it really depends on the engne condition some goes further
