1994 Lincoln Town Car burning oil

I have a '93 Town Car.

First, I'd check for codes.

You could be dumping gas which could be contaminating the oil. Fuel system problem.

You could have leaking valve seals. They get hard and oil can pass by them.

You could have an engine that has bad piston rings or related.

You could have blocked oil passage ways just under the valve covers. Causing oil to find it's way down the valve seals.

I was burning a quart every 1000 miles. I started using Restore (8 cyl amount) and my oil problem has almost gone away.
