1995 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am trying to get the codes to see why my engine light light comes on after I reach above 1200 rpm and goes out when I lower my speed. And I do not know where to locate the EEC port to connect the scanner.

The connector is under the hood and should say diagnostic on the cover. There are two plugs in it. Remove from the cover and plug your scan tool in. It should be close to the fire wall and I think it is on the drivers side. Good luck it is about one inch by 2 inches long. The plugs are hard to remove but hang in there and it will work.
