1994 Lincoln Mark VIII knock knock

My engine knocks for a few seconds on cold start ups I am using lucas full syn 5w30 and k&n gold series oil filter anyone familiar with a defect in these motors that can cause this ive had the car since 94 and I am really sick of it and I want to repair it before it blows up on me i've had the car since 94 so I know the mileage is true

Sounds to me the lifters has a leakdown problem or a weak oil pump-check oil pressure.
