Windshield wipers will not work

Six cylinder four wheel drive automatic 87,000 miles

wipers do not work. I replaced motor, replaced wiper relay, checked all fuses in passenger kick panel. Windshield washer not working. Friends car three visits still nothing. Obtained a schematic, little knowledge of this, saw a wiper run/park relay. Would that cause wipers to not work? Preparing my friend for expense of wiper switch on steering column. Any suggestions?
