New front electronic struts for 99 Continental

I got a quote from a place in Lincoln Nebraska to get new electronic front struts for my 99 Continental for $800. That is really expensive. I found some struts by Monroe online for $650, anyone think I could get a better price than that. Or know were else to look?

Also is Monroe a good brand to go with, or would anyone know of a better one?

That sounds about right on the price, monroes are agood name brand in shocks and struts. If you didnt want the ride contol to work you could put regular struts on the car, for about probibly half the price, but like I said your ride contol will not work.

I thought about that, but I bought the Lincoln partly because of the ride.

Well you will have to eather go with origanal eq. Or the monroes. But the price sounds pretty close.
