I HAVE A 95 LINC CONTINENTAL WITH A V8 ENGINE. I HAVE CHANGED THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY AND MY CAR STILL READS CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM AND THE BATTERY AINT CHARGING

NOT POSITIVE BUT YOUR VOLTAGE REGULATER MIGHT BE SEPERATE FROM YOUR ALT. AND THAT MAY BE CAUSING YOUR PROBLEM.

So what should I do if my voltege regulater is seperated from my alternater

If it is you will have to replace the regulater and that should fix your problem. Your auto parts store should be able to look it up for you and able to tell you if it is seperate or with the alternater.

I 2 have had that problem. Look under the hood next 2 the battery 4 a black fuse box. Find the small BLOWN FUSE. Hope dat helps!

Ok. I got the same exact problem. I changed the altinator and the battery. Still won't keep charge. Whats the secret?
