Electrical problem
2002 Lincoln Continental V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I had a couple of windows not operating well and eventually stripped the nylon gear in the regulator/motor assembly. I bought new gears online and just replaced the drivers one. The window moved fine but when I hit the auto down it went down and after stopping the motor kept running and stripped the gear again, the new gear came with three " regulator plugs" I didnt use, not sure what they are or even where they go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

Car stumbles when under load such as shifting up to new gear or accelorating onto highway etc. Seems to idle ok. Ran fine one day for four or five hours then started again, seems to be getting worse. No check engine light, plugs wires coils fuel filter exhaust approx one year old, egr and injectors cleaned at dealer about one year ago. Thanks mike

Hello Mike

Hey one other check before disconnecting the switch to check with the meter.

Start with the window in the up position. Press the driver's window switch down.

While the window is still in motion, press the up switch.

If the window did not stop your DDM, or driver's door module is probably defective.

Try this test and let me know what you come up with.
