Hello -

There doesn't seem to be very good pic on this in the manuals I have looked at. They only provide general instructions........

So what I did was give you the pics they gave on disassembly so you can see the item....and then the instructions for removal for the master cylinder. They showed two types....I attached them both........

Also, they don't even supply removal of the booster..........however, once you have removed the master cylinder, remove the vacuum hose from the booster....from inside the vehicle under the dash you will get to the bolts/nuts that hold the booster on........

Removal and Installation of Master Cylinder
Notes

On models equipped with ABS, depress brake pedal several times to exhaust all vacuum in the system.
On all models, disconnect brake lines from master cylinder, then all necessary electrical connectors.
On models equipped with ABS, disconnect hydraulic control unit supply hose at master cylinder. Secure hose in a position to prevent brake fluid loss.
On all models, remove nuts retaining master cylinder to brake booster.
Remove master cylinder.
Reverse procedure to install. After installation is complete, fill master cylinder with manufacturer recommended brake fluid and perform brake bleeding procedure.

There is not enough room to pull it out, several brackets must be removed from the top of the transmission. The cruise control solenoid, several wiring harnesses, etc.
