1972 Lincoln Continental C6 Tranny

Hi, my problem is that the C6 Transmission does not shift in any forward gear when it is cold. Reverse is no problem. If you wait about 2-5 min with engine running then you can drive without any problems for the rest of the day. Oil is changed and level is fine. Best regards Bastian

Hi
Problem described is worn rubber seals in TRANS that allow fluid loss in cletch pack pistons until warm when things expand a bit. No solution other than overhaul.
