Truck has loss of power and acts choked of air even though I replaced the turbo. Throws codes for turbo actuator even though that's new and I don't know where to go from here. Is there anything electrical like a relay or sensors on the turbo that could cause this? Dealership is not helpful and they are the reason I bought the new turbo even though it didn't fix the problem.

Couple questions on this. Did you replace the turbo yourself and the actuator came on the turbo correct?

This is normally due to a restriction in the system but can you get the codes for me that you are getting because there are other common issues depending on what the actual codes are. If they are underboost or other codes then that is going to take us in a different direction.

Also, if they are just actuator codes then we can test the rest of the system as well but we are going to need to start with the actual codes and go from there.

The most likely thing that causes this is actual air leaks in the charged air system so it is low power and acts like it is restricted but it is actually due to not being able to build pressure. So let me know what the actual codes are and we can figure this out. Thanks
