I replaced old camshaft and am going to install old roller lifters. Is this safe to do or do I need to buy new lifters?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Due to each cam lobe and lifter having different wear and wear patterns it is always advisable to replace lifters when installing a new camshaft. I would not suggest re using old lifters. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hello again.

New rockers are a great idea as wear for the same reason being wear pattern. You can reuse push rods just be sure to measure them to be sure they are all the same length and not bent. As far as testing to see if they aren't bent just roll them on a flat piece of glass. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
