MINE IS WELL MAINTAINED. 120,000 WHEN WEATHER IS HOT AND HUMID 90 DEGREES + CAR BUCKS AND SPUTTERS. IT`S NOT OVERHEATING ON THE INST. GAUGE. I`VE HAD 2 GARAGES CHECK IT OUT. NO ERROR CODES. CHANGED FUEL BRANDS. OTHER THAN HOT HUMID WEATHER RUNS PERFECT.

Sounds like vapor lock, if the fuel lines are too close to hot manifolds or such, the heat will cause the fuel to vaporize and give you that type of behavior.
