2000 LEXUS LS 400 REAR ROTOR REMOVAL

Brakes problem
2000 Lexus LS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles

I have removed brake calipers and axle bolt as well as removed disc screws. Cannot get the rotor removed. What else am I missing? Thanks

Hi gbandy,

The rotors are tightly fitted onto the hub, you need to use some rust remover and bang the area where the wheel sits to get it loosened up.

If you want to remove only the rotors, install back the axle nut first.
