Lacks power its takes two to three minutes to get to 45 mph?

The transmission fluid is full its not leaking and the motor seems to run fine but the car lacks power its takes two to three minutes to get to 45 mph and the dash light does not work if you know any thing about this please write me back it would a big help thanks

This would be considered low power and can be caused by a number of things. Here are a couple guides that will help get us started:

Once we know if there were any issues with this, we can take the next steps which is checking exhaust for restrictions.

If the converter is clogged, then it will cause this, and it may improve as the engine gets hot, but we need to check the converter using this testing.

Once we know what we find with this info we can go from there but basically the leading causes of low power are restrictions to the intake or exhaust, so we need to start there.
