When car is cranked it idles, but when you accelerate to around 2500 rpm's it begins to miss. Idles up and dies, repeating this.

When driving you have to take of in l, ow, and shift gear to 2nd then to drive to get around 50 miles per hour, ac quit cooling at same time the other problem occurred.

Had been a long trip did fine. Parked it, cranked it to drive and the above mentioned started.

thanks, Walter

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1. Defective spark plug
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
11. Idle air control valve.
