Brakes problem
1992 Lexus LS 400 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 195000 miles

just did the change out myself and now the car basically feels like it has no brakes. What did I do wrong. Vice gripped line at caliper, removed and drained caliper, moved pistons back, installed new pads, reassembled attahced brake line first and then released the vice griip.

what did I miss. THx

Chances are you wrecked the brake lines from using the vice grips, what would make you do that?

Secondly after the lines are replaced the brakes will have to be bled, then it should be good to go.
