Recently, my Lexus has made noises when going over a bumpy road. It sounds like my tire is going to fall off. I took it to the Firestone dealer who told me I need new front springs and struts for a cost of $1,300. Is this a high quote? If not, is it worth putting this much into an eleven year old car? Other than this, they say that the car is in great shape. I appreciate any help. Thanks

My estimate comes to around $1,200 so your quote is pretty fair. That is really your choice about making that repair. It is your vehicle so only you know how much you want to spend on it. As long as you have kept all routine maintenance on the vehicle then it should still last a very long time so $1,200 might be better than looking for another vehicle and paying 6 or 7k or more and then not really knowing what you're getting.?

Hope this helps in your decision.
