Stalls shifting now and then once or twice then shifts ok, no check eng light, no trsm slip, goes in gear a little hard some at fast idle, slow to go in overdrive cold

Start with a service using the factory fluid. If no faults are being set, it may be a mechanical issue inside it instead of electronic. If that is the case, you will need to have a trans shop do some line pressure checks to see where the problem lies
