I am attempting to replace a driver side headlight assembly but cannot figure out how to get the last nut outer-upper, out. I looks like it bolts into the trunsignal lense but it does not. I cn't see out to remove the turn signal assembly. I have remove the windshield washer fluid res. so I can'see from below, but still can't see how it comes apart. Can you help me with this.

First remove the plastic cover above the headlight assembly. Remove the nut and screw holding the top of the assembly in place. Then, after taking the plastic down in the wheel well, you have to reach up with a long straight slot screwdriver and place it in a spot where, if you rotate the screwdriver, a clip in the turn signal assembly releases and the turn signal assembly will come out with ease. Then, remove the two nuts holding the two studs in the side of the headlight assembly and remove the headlight assembly carefully.
I only got a clue from the internet regarding the clip. Without a picture or another assembly to reference, it is very difficult to explain what needs to be done.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear of your troubles.

I have looked at the resources I have, and cannot find a step by step procedure to tell you how to remove the light.

If (more like when) I get stuck in something like this, I get an exploded view from the parts department at the dealer.
It will often give you insight to what and how things fit together.

good luck

oh, PS, have your VIN handy when you talk to them. they will probably want that before they start to look anything up for you.

It will be on your insurance card, if you have that in your wallet.
