I went to start my car one morning and it did not start, so I took it to my Lexus mechanic and he said I had a bad battery. I replaced the battery and my car was fine for 3 days, then the same thing. Took it back, he said it was the alternator. Replaced the alternator and charged the batterery and it ran again for 3 days. Took it back and he replaced the battery and the alternator 2 more times and every time I get the car back it runs for 3 days, the battery light comes on and then it dies. I jump it and once the cables are removed the car dies immediatelly. What can cause my car to eat batteries and alternators like this? Please help, as I am running out of money.

Hi LexusES300,

There should be a battery drain somewhere or the alternator is not charging back the battery.

Check charging voltage at battery and alternator main mast.

Check main fuses.
