I didn't realize my car was leaking oil. It started sputtering and a friend told me to stop and check it. There was almost none. I put more in and on my way back to work it still sputtered and white smoke was coming out of the muffler ( a lot). Is that from the low oil and newly added or could it be my head gasket? I have transmission problems too but I have dealt with those for a while.
=(
Thanks, Barbie

White smoke was coming out of the muffler. This is an indication that coolant is being burn in the combustion chamber

What you need to do is get it block and pressure tested to rule out a blown headgasket cracked head and block
