Leak (Coolant) In The Back Of The Engine, Coolant Flange Is What I Got.

My car has been leaking coolant through the back of my engine. Sometimes I see that my coolant level is low, and that there is a puddle on the floor. From doing some research, the coolant flange is the only issue that meets the problems I have. Now I'm here to ask if there is a simple way to repair a coolant flange (DIY) and what parts will I need? I apologize if I ask too much, just trying to save some money.

If the coolant flange/pipe is leaking it will need to be replaced you cant repair it. The plastic overtime and heat becomes brittle and cracks and leaks. Its not the easiest to replace its about a 3hr labor charge or so to have it repaired in the shop. Its pretty common for them to leak we have them in stock at the vw dealer I work at thats how common they leak.

Depends on the labor rate they charge times 3hrs the labor rates vary from shop to shop. The part is under 30 from what we charge for it at the vw dealer.
