1997 Land Rover Discovery 2 no power

Codes came up as crank position sensor and missfire on all cylinders.
I was thinking coil pack or change cranke sensor first
or both. Do I have 2 problems at the sametime, is it possible to have coil and cranke sensor go at sametime.
