Knocking noises from engine bay?

I have recently got my car back from it having an engine rebuild as my timing chain slipped and my pistons hit the valves and my valves bent, from having it back for a couple days I've noticed a knocking noise coming from my engine bay. I've been advised to not go over 50 MPH and don’t go over 3,000 RPMs, which I've been sticking to as part of the way to run the engine in, but I just don’t understand the knocking noise? It only happens when I'm in idle and my foot is off the clutch. While I'm driving I can hear it as well and it’s gradually gotten louder... Please help!

That is a bad sign the engine has had a problem, I would take it back and have the garage that fixed the problem take a look at it. Also, if you can upload a short video of the engine idling, I can hear the noise and tell for sure what is going on. This guide can help with engine noises:
