There is a grinding noise coming from the front of my car. I had the wheel bearings replaced, new muffler installed and new brakes placed. This noise is still there.
I had two mechanics check for the problems and they could not find the problem. Frustrated!
thanks

As soon as I start to drive and the car is in motion. Sometimes it will stop for a bit then start right up for the rest of the drive. I feel it more on the drivers side.
The noise is loud. Grinding, squeaking, and sometimes a thumping sound.
Thanks

Hi there,
Brace the car and jack up that wheel, turn it by hand, can you hear the noise? Can you feel any movement (top to bottom ) in the bearing, check that the brake backing plate is not touching the rotor, if you can hear that noise at that wheel, advise your mechanic to do a full inspection around this point if you feel you cant do the job your self.
