1998 Kia Sportage car wont start

I have a 98 kia sportage. At first I would have to turn the key a couple of times and then it would start, but the other day I was driving and it just totally died and now I cant start it at all. I turn the key and it cranks but wont start. What do I need to check or fix?

Check to see if you broke the timing belt first. If it is still there, you'lll need to check the computer and see what the data stream is saying when cranking. You have to have fuel, air and spark to start. Most of these things require some special tools to check.
