1997 Kia Sportage clutch

When push the clutch pedal then I shift to 1st gear, it did not move, it really on standby mode as in neutral even it was on 1st gear.

If you haven't had any issues with the clutch slipping or grinding when trying to put in gear, look to see if the lever for the transfer case 4x4 mode is in neutral. Put it back in hi range if it is in neutral. Good luck
