I have been having a problem with my car. The heat and air conditioning work (I can change the temp also), however I am not able to change the fan speed. Its always on, and on at one speed (turns off when the car is off) however, when I turn the control to the off position, it continues to blow out of all of the vents (defrost, vent & floor). I have replaced the resistor, and the controls, still isn't fixed. I am stumped! PLEASE help!

Two paths to take on this one.

Check the ground on the blend door actuator. Usually all HVAC actuators will be grounded together

KIA had a bad batch of control heads. The replaced head may not be a good one.

Any chance you would be able to tell me where the blend door actuator is?

And when you say the control heads, can you explain what that is?

I am so sorry, I misread the question.
This is about fan speed.
Bear with me.

I can email the diagram if needed.

Control head, meaning the component that the switch is located on...Which I think you said you replced.
