2006 Kia Spectra fuel pump

I turn my car on and sometimes it starts right away. Other times I turn it over twice maybe all lights come on. Had it checked at kia a week ago they said everything in my steering columne is good as well as my battery. Could it be my fuel pump going out? Any ideas.

Yes, the pump could cause it. Here is a how to for checking it.

When you check it, pay special attention to fuel pressure drop off. If the system doesn't maintain pressure, it will be hard to start because it needs to build pressure again.
