2003 Kia Sorento loosing power

My 2003 kia sorento will lose all power when going down the highway. It doesnt die completly it just looses rpm down to 0-1. Giving it gas doesnt help. If you sit on the side of the road a few minutes it will straighten up for a few miles but then down again.

It sounds like a problem with the fuel pump. Has the check engine light come on? Also, I would recommend checking fuel pump pressure. Here is a video how to for checking.
