1999 Kia Sephia compatability?

I have 99 Kia Sephia(base model) with a slipping transaxle. I also have a 03 Kia Rio stationwagon with major front end and suspension issues. But the motor and engine is in great condition on the Rio. Can I take the engine and motor out of the Rio & put it in the Sephia? Will it fit?

Could you supply the vin #'s for both vehicle's .. the motor's etc. should basically be the same except for size .. 1.6L/1.8L ... the mountings may be different ?
