1996 Kia Sephia Raido and cassette player

We just bought this car, used. Alot of the wires for the radio and cd player have been cut. I can match the colors up but I'm missing the connecter that goes into the back of the cd player. I also found green wires that are cut and do not know where they go. I also found a red wire that was cut and I found where it comes out under the hood, but it is not connected to anything, it is also cut. I need help, but I don't want to end up taking it to a mechanic. Would a picture help? If so, I'll take some.
