Fuel consumption and gas emmesions

The car is kia sephia 1993 with 16v double cam engine. The car had transported more than 190000 km, during travelling bad gas smill is detected and excessive fuel consumption, the exhaust system was checked and no problems found. The pecentage of co in exhaust was measeured and regulated by air flow meter untill no bad emmessions smile detected. After moving 60 km the bad emmessions are detected again.

what is the propable causes of this problem?

Check the fuel system. Starting with the gas tank for holes or cracks. Then move up the lines looking for cracks. To the fuel rail and the injectors. Fuel Injectors migh have bad oring seals, allowing fuel to leak. Not good.
