Good morning I was wondering if someone can tell me if there is a cabin filter in my 2000 kia sportage? I was told once that if I look behind the glovebox it is there. Now I'm not sure how true that is. Can someone help? Also I'm the same person with the intermittant starting. I gave it a tune up and it is still intermittant. Can you please tell me the location of the fuel pump whether it is on top of the tank with access from the interior or must I drop the tank. Also, how much more or less does the fuel pump relay cost? Thank you for your time. JP.

Don't bother with the fuel pump relay its not the problem, the feul pump can be accessed without dropping the tank, roll forward the rear seat and on the passenger side you'll see a small cover, pull it back and there you'll have 4 screws(2 of wich are very important grounds, one for the fuel pump itself) that can be remove to reveal the top of the fuel sending unit (pump includede)

Cody. Thank you so much for your help. However, I did find the problem. It did end up being the Fuel Pump relay. Thank goodness for that because it was only a $12 part. Thank you again. ANY LUCK on the cabin filter? Is there one located behind the glove box?

I don't believe you have a cabin filter in that model. There is no inication of it in a parts listing or the shop manual.
