I recently bought a 98 kia sephia that was not running at the time. It has fire but does not seem to be getting gas to the plugs. The fuel pump seems to be working good but can some one tell me exactly were the fuel filter is and do these cars have a fuel pressure regulator and where it would be located? I can only find one gas line that seems to be an inlet but can't find a return a return line.

Hmm u say the fuel pump seems to be working good, just wondering how you checked the operation of pump, You should remove the inlet land stick it into some sort of bottle or container and have someone turn the key as if to start vehicle and see if any fuel comes out of line, On another note, there is no return line, this is a returnless fuel system and there should be a fuel damper or regulator on the opposite side of the fuel rail were the inlet goes to. I think the fuel filter is located in the back next to the fuel tank, its pretty easy to do.

I checked the fuel pressure at the valve and it was at 47psi. The injectors don't seem to be kicking in because when I pull a plug out, it is always dry. I checked fuses and they are good. Is there a relay
somewhere? Thanks, roger
