I'm trying to help a friend tune up her 200 kia sportage. Where the heck are the spark plugs located? I was told that the car does not have a distributer and the plugs should be easy to locate "somewhere on top of the motor" but I don't see where they would be. Do I have to dismantle all kinds of stuff to get at them?

Please help!

Under the coils, maybe under a plastic cover

Its not straight forward: first you have to remove the top part of the intake that holds the throttle and cables and the rubber black cowl(large tube) that goes to it, then remove the long black plastic cover that runs down the center of the engine. From there you must remove 2 coils and 2 ignition wires and there you'll find the plugs.
