1999 Other Kia Models Heater fan

When turning on the fan to air conditioner/heater, it won't start until after I have driven 20 to 30 miles. I know the fan motor works but not sure what can cause it to delay. It started in the summer using the A/C and still does it now when its cold outside. It is a KIA Sephia.

Sounds like and electrical problem. There is a Blower motor "Resistor Assembly" that could be the problem. $37 or less to fix. Only take a screw driver to swap.
