2001 Kia Optima

When I am driving sometimes my car will kinda start to slow down. Though I can have my foot on the peddle all the way to the floor. It seems as though it maybe has some kinda block that the gas is not getting through or something. I'm not sure. But does anyone have any idea about this one?

Do you have check engine light on and or blinking
need to have it checked
scan it for codes
most local part store have the service for free
also check it for tune up and check fuel pressure

check exhaust and cat.
