1997 Kia Mentor Faulty indicators

When the side/headlights are turned on, the offside indicators come on even though the indicator switch is at neutral. However if the lights are turned off the indicators work normally. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi there,

This can often be caused by a bad earth in the light, start here.

Thanks for your suggestion but before I recieved it I located the problem to be a loose connection in the trailer socket which is attached to the towbar.
