2008 Kia Amanti interior rattles

I have 2 areas in my new car that make a rattle sound, the area around the govebox, and the other what sounds like a loose wire in the headliner. Here's the thing, when it rains, the noises are completely gone.I have had the car in 3 times to fix, and still might have to take it back. Could this be nothing more than new car settling?

Hi there,

New car rattles can be a real problem to sort out, give the dealer a fair go at it as often locating a noise is very difficult, you have ample warranty time so give then a chance and they should get it sorted.

Hui there,

No not really, if it rattles it's loose and will need to be located and rectified, this is a legacy of plastic trims and plastic trim clips.
