The starter switch locked up would not turn, replaced key switch and housing key switch. Fits into switch turns on good and lights seem to work okay and when switch is in the starting point, to turn the starter over it does not work. I checked to see if I was getting power going out of the switch and I was losing power from the switch to the starter somewhere after the switch.
it is between the switch and the starter I am losing power.

Good afternoon.

Did you do the password re learn for the key? In order for the PCM to ground the starter relay the security system must be working correctly?

Does the security or anti theft light come on with the key and then go out?

I have no idea how to do that. I just put a new key switch system in the car.

Okay.

Turn the key on and wait about ten minutes and the anti theft or security light should go out, then turn the key off and back on and wait again until the light goes off and turn the key off again, turn the key on for the third time and wait again. Then it should start. That is if it is the security system.

The process takes about thirty minutes.
