Hi Reddog,

Unfortunately, there is no way to start the vehicle with a screwdriver. The vehicle needs to have the correctly programmed key inserted into the ignition and then turned to start the vehicle. The fact that the vehicle will not start and the green key flashes is telling you this. If it were this easy to start a vehicle using a screwdriver then the vehicle can be stolen very easily. This system prevents that. Now that the ignition is damaged, I imagine you are going to need to have it repaired and have a key programmed to the the vehicle.

The only thing you can try but I doubt will work is to hold the key that is programmed to the vehicle very close to the ignition and then turn the cylinder to see if it will start. If not, again you will need to have this repaired.

Sorry for the bad news but the OEM designed this system to prevent the exact thing that you are trying to do.
