Have very hard time starting the car and it seems to be due to the computer in the car.
This has been a big problem every week getting worse.
Any advice would be welcome. It is a 1997 Cirrus LXI but has not been driven much with ony 80k miles on it.
Today it simply won't start after many tries.
No point in calling AAA as battery is fine!
Hope tohear from you.
Walter

"Won't start" can mean a lot of different things, but since you replaced the battery, my guess is the engine cranks normally but doesn't start and run. Try holding the gas pedal down 1/4". When that works, go out and drive it with two feet on the pedals. Drive at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coast for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals. That will meet the conditions for the Engine Computer to relearn "minimum throttle". Once that is done, it will know when it has to be in control of idle speed.
