Can the car listed above be used to jump another regular car? If so, how?

There is a 12 volt battery in them for starting. However it isn't a very large battery and isn't usable to jump start another car directly.
I have been told that you could use the Prius to charge the dead battery by connecting the batteries with cables then letting the Prius run in ready mode for 5-10 minutes. Then disconnect the cars and try to start the dead car. Just be aware that if you make a mistake with the polarity it will cost in the thousands to repair the Prius electronics. I have never tried the above and doubt it's in the owners manual either.
