If we are talking about reset check engine light.
I take wifes Escape to mostly AUTOZONE (closer), sometimes ADVANCE AUTO to have codes read for FREE..........When repairs are done, I take it back to verify fix
They SAY they are not allowed to clear codes.......I have them show me the procedure all the way up to pushing the LAST BUTTON.......we talk a moment....then usually I see that he needs to look at his co-worker................By some act of the GREAT SPIRIT, the last button gets pushed.....they remove machine, I go on my way.............Love Turddog
