Hello, I have a wrangler unlimited, and for the last 3000 miles or so it would all of a sudden seem to shift out of gear and lose power. I would have to turn it off and the restart it and it would run OK again for a while. If I turn the overdrive off it seems to run longer befor the power loss. The power loss seems to happen after the vehical runs for about 20 miles at highway speed (70mph).

Hello, I have seen this problem before with Jeeps. It can be one of two problems, first is the transmission fluid level low or the condition of the fluid burnt?

Next, the main PCM will heat up and can cause the car to lose power and cause the transmission to go into neutral. The problem is it is very hard to diagnose. Use must connect a PCM operation recorder and monitor the PCM operation. Does the check engine light come on? If not the PCM could still be the problem.
